Eclipse Road Trip Adventures: My husband and I were buzzing with excitement for our road trip to Montreal, Canada, to catch the 2024 eclipse. We packed our car with all our ski gear, making sure we were ready for any adventure. With Beyoncé’s latest album, “Cowboy Carter,” blasting, we hit the road, eager for the journey ahead. Our first stop? Vermont!

During our drive, we stumbled upon a Yankee Candle Village store in Massachusetts and just had to check it out. Stepping inside was like stepping into a dream – the air was filled with amazing scents, and there were so many cool things to see and try. It felt like we’d wandered into a fairy tale, with displays that reminded us of Hogwarts and a cozy winter vibe that smelled like maple syrup.

As evening approached, our stomachs started growling, so we headed to the Harpoon Brewery Taproom and Beer Garden in Windsor, VT, for an early dinner. And let me tell you, the food there was even better than we’d hoped for – it was absolutely delicious!

With the sun setting, we made our way to our accommodation for the night, buzzing with excitement for the day of skiing ahead. Curled up in our cozy room, we could hardly wait to hit the slopes the next morning.

The next day dawned bright and clear, and we wasted no time in getting out on the slopes. The fresh powder was calling our names, and we spent the whole day carving up the mountain and enjoying the stunning views.

After a day of skiing, we were ready to relax and unwind. We treated ourselves to a delicious homemade dinner of salmon, rice, and broccoli, indulging in some much-needed comfort food.

After dinner, we went for a walk around the resort village. As we headed back to our accommodation for the night, tired but happy, we reflected on the day’s adventures. From exploring charming villages to conquering the slopes, the start of our road trip to Vermont had been nothing short of magical.
